Shanghai Free Trade Zone and "Global Hub" Promotion Conference
On July 29, Daroink gained valuable international experience by participating in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone and “Global Hub” Promotion Conference. This event served as an important platform for connecting producers, investors, and business representatives from both China and Armenia.
The conference brought together not only representatives of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone but also a number of Armenian manufacturers and entrepreneurs showcasing Armenia’s export potential. The main goal of the event was to expand Armenian-Chinese economic cooperation, promote local products for export, and explore new markets.
Daroink, as one of Armenia’s leading brands in sweets and cookie production, presented its products by highlighting their quality, traditional Armenian recipes, and advanced production techniques. The Shanghai delegates showed strong interest in the product line, and as a result of the discussions, several collaboration opportunities were proposed, including:
• Exporting to China under the Daroink brand, with import and sales on the local market,
• Setting up production in Shanghai with localized versions of Armenian products,
• Participating in various expos held in Shanghai, offering Daroink the chance not only to showcase its products but also to sell them on-site.
These proposals indicate that Daroink has a real opportunity to become an international brand while preserving its Armenian identity and flavor. For the company, this conference was not only a platform for exploring partnerships but also a key step toward entering new regions and global markets.
